Andy Stanton 02/02/2014 | I've just this moment made an amendment to a Pub With No Beer including a missing verse. Top | Home Andy Stanton 05/02/2014 I've just posted The Band Played Waltzing Matilda, which along with Waltzing Matilda and A Pub With No Beer nicely completes a trilogy of Australian songs. The Band Plays Waltzing Matilda is a bit of a marathon on the best of days. I'm not suggesting that we play it. It's there for people who may wish to practice with it. I've also placed a clip on the Video Clips page of Eric Bogle singing his song at the Sidmouth Folk Festival in 2009. Top | Home Andy Stanton 05/02/2014 In addition to Listen to the Rhythm of The Falling Rain I have also updated Blue Skies and April Showers. Top | Home JeffT 05/02/2014 Hi Andy, where have all the video clips gone? Top | Home Andy Stanton 06/02/2014 If you look at the play list there are little cine icons on the extreme right of each entry. That is the relevant video clip. The only video clips on the video clip page are the ones that are not associated with any particular song. I'm sorry, I should have explained. Smart, eh?) Blue Skies Have You Ever Seen The Rain Listen To The Rhythm Of The Falling Rain Maggie I'm also about to include a song which for some strange reason has not featured in our medley. Raining In My Heart Like most of Buddy Holly's songs it is well crafted, and has some nice little chord progressions in it. I've only just noticed that the tuning on the top of the chord diagrams is exclusively soprano/concert/tenor tuning. It has now been corrected! Top | Home Andy Stanton 26/02/2014 Thanks to those folk who pointed out the alignment errors in the chord diagrams on recent printouts. The error has been corrected. I've run it on all the major browsers and it seems to be ok! Top | Home |
